The NGO Support Centre
Originally registered as the Association of Management Studies in December 1999, the organization has subsequently changed its name to NGO Support Centre, to better reflect its activities and scope.
Past activities of the centre have included lectures, open days and workshops.

Vision / Mission / Objectives
The vision of the centre is that of a strong civil society in Cyprus, a domain that has traditionally been weak in our society even though indispensable for its democratic functioning. Consequently the mission of the centre is the mobilization of people and resources to actively participate in the creation of a strong civil society in Cyprus.
The Centre aims:

To contribute to increasing the capacity of NGOs by providing consulting and training on organizational and management issues
To promote awareness on the role of the Third Sector in developing transparency and democratic procedures and at helping towards encouraging initiatives in this field of Civil Society
To support initiatives that contribute to strengthening Cypriot Civil Society and to reinforcing links between Cypriot Civil Society Organisations, as well as links between the latter and foreign Civil Society Organisations.

Who we are
The NGO Support Centre is governed by a board of directors who work closely with the staff, and is currently composed of five members:
