NGO Code of Ethics and Practices
This document has been produced through a series of consultations with representatives from various NGOs, as part of the ‘Cypriot Civil Society Mapping and Capacity Building Project’. It constitutes eight clauses that represent the core values and work of NGOs in Cyprus.
This document examines the current framework of good governance practices and challenges of NGOs in Cyprus and addresses the need for the development of an NGO Code of Ethics and Practices. It also looks at existing examples of Codes of Ethics/Conduct that have been developed by organizations in Cyprus and abroad.
